What: An opportunity to work on desensitizing and partnership exercises with your horse, mounted or unmounted, or in harness.

Who: All experience levels and all ages (horses and humans) of Midstate Riding Club members. If you are not a member, this is a great chance to join! Midstate Riding Club Inc., is a non-profit organization offering equine activities for people of all ages and all experience levels since 1949 and always welcomes new members!

When: June 27th from 10:00 AM to Noon. Drop in anytime, stay for as long as you choose.

Where: The Midstate Riding Club grounds on Rte. 12 in Randolph, Vermont

Cost: FREE to members! Become a member for $20 (annual fee) by completing the membership form on our website and send it to us along with a check.

What to bring: In addition to bringing your horse, please bring an obstacle to share with other participants. This can be as simple as an umbrella, a bicycle, or a lawn ornament. Some of the more complex obstacles would be things horses can walk through, under, or over.

Please contact Katie Van Houten ahead of time at kvanhouten@orangesouthwest.org to sign up for an obstacle in order to avoid duplicates, or if you need ideas. Remember to bring bug repellent and water (for you and your horse) and perhaps a snack.
